Have you ever been to a beach and thought to yourself, this is definitely a locals only beach? That's how I feel about Terramar Beach. It's pretty small and not always easy to access. If the tide is high, you can't really go to the sand. There's no restrooms or lifeguard or vendors selling ice cream. What you will see are surfers, local photographers and couples hanging out on the cliffs. Ocassionally you'll see a few dogs running around and if the tide is low, you'll see families looking for hidden treasures along the tide pools. This is my kind of beach. Quiet and not too busy. The only thing I don't like is having to go back up the stairs. :) Do you have a favorite "locals only" beach?
