I've been living in Oceanside CA for over 30 years and boy has there been changes. Not anything bad but this city is definitely on the map now. This city was not considered a tourist destination. It was more of a location for Marines to hang out on the weekends since Camp Pendleton is right next door. It was a city to avoid because of gang violence. Now, when you go take a walk at the Oceanside pier, the majority of people you see are tourists. People that are staying at the hotels and resort right across the street. Like I said, it's not a bad thing but it's definitely different. How long have you been in Oceanside or have you visited before? Sharing some photos from my last visit to the Oceanside Harbor.
